dad's back in Singapore.. so im spending most of my time wif him and mom now.. aa
this new year is a little bit more special than be4.. cos i gave my parents something extra this year.. aa
besides the usual oranges and bai nian ritual.. i gave them a red packet each.. aa jus in case u are wondering.. the red packets are not empty.. neither is it filled wif tissue paper.. there is a genuine Singapore note in them.. =)
then besides the usual visiting.. we also had a few family outings.. aa went to watch the movie, "protege" aa
not a bad movie to watch.. but jus in case u didnt know.. its a little of a horror movie.. i wld give it 3.5/5 stars
the cast is strong.. lots of big shot Hong Kong actors and actresses are involved in this film.. and they star-ed a Singaporean actor at the end of the movie..
but this movie is definitely not a festive movie.. unlike Jack Neo's new film, "Just Follow Law" aa toking about movies.. there is a film tat i wld love to catch.. "The Pursuit of Happyness" aa
not sure why its "happyness" and not "happiness".. but they spelled it tat way in the posters.. aa anyway.. this is a true story of how much this father had gone through jus to pursue his dream and to find a good job to support the family..

then, some time over the weekends, i met wee yang , shi liang and a few others for lunch at changing appetites aa their servings are huge!! all of us went in like hungry ghosts.. but came out bloated..
i had a big big burger to myself..
then i ordered this fried onion thingy to share.. but non of us had the stomach space to contain it..
im not really complaining.. infact.. the food there is pretty good.. jus that the portion is too big for small asians like me..
oh ya!! i know its a little late.. but.. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

14 feb... Valentines day!!!
had a date wif comfort driving centre.. went to take my final theory test..
I PASSED!!!! =D aa
now i can finally do away wif the theory books and concentrate on my practical..
hopefully.. by August i can take my prac test and get my license..
after the theory test.. i met my driving instructor for my drive practice..

good news is.. im improving.. today's drive is alot better

bad news is.. my instructor say im improving very slowly..

till now.. i still cannot control my clutch well.. which resulted in my car jerking.. slgh~
hmm... looks like i haven been bloggin in a long long while eh?? but there really isnt any happening things to blog about..
was kinda busy working yesterday and today.. went back to singapore mint to do wat i have always been doing.. but this time its not in a road show.. its in the main showroom..
which pretty much match my plan.. since it was first, sales in road shows.. then sales in showrooms.. and finally waitering..
i think the biggest difference between working in a road show and in a showroom is that people tend to be more polite.. they are alot less bossy for example..
besides work.. i've spent most of my time at home in front of the computer.. mom has cut my allowence.. and going out has become super expensive..
a bus ride to town and back cld cost u 5 bucks.. and u still gotta spend more money on food, shopping, etc etc..
besides gaming.. i did some reading at night to keep my brain thinking.. and not jus doing routine work..
finished reading my second book pretty long ago but i keep forgetting to blog about it.. the book is.."Velocity" by Dean Koontz
its a nice book to read.. nice paragraphing.. good big font.. easy to understand and picture the things u read..
the story's main character is called, "Billy" and one fine day after work he received a note that reads.. aa
"If you don't take this note to the police, I will KILL a lovely blonde schoolteacher somewhere in Napa Country
If you do take this note to the police, i will instead KILL an elderly women"
aa at first Billy tot it was a hoax.. the schoolteacher dies.. after tat.. he received more notes from the psychopath.. followed by more deaths..
this book has lots of suspense.. lots of tension.. lots of action.. and quite abit of surprise.. as in.. u didnt expect it to happen but it did..
right now im about to finish my third book.. which is also a detective story about some psychopathic killer.. will tell u more when i finish..
wondering wat this picture is doing in my blog?? cos after 2 years and 1 mth.. my precious computer finally gave up and went on a strike.. it refused to be turned on..
so today i had to carry it down to sim lim to look for help..
lucky me.. once i got up to 4th floor.. someone approached me and asked if i was looking for upgrading or repairs..
so i told her, "repair" and immediately, i was led to a shop
actually.. i wasnt really led there.. instead.. i was running after her..
she was walking so quickly i had to breeze walk to catch up.. and wif me wearing white and carrying a bulky black PC.. i must have looked like a running penguin
perhaps.. something like this..
good thing the shop wasnt far.. and i made it there without a sweat..
so.. after taking a look at the com.. the technician realised that it wasnt a big problem
it was simply cos there were dust trapped between some chips.. and after the chip was brushed clean.. the com went back to normal..
but becos repair price is fixed at $25.. the technician took the initiative to clean the processor fan too.. jus to make the money's worth..
so nice of him..
after im done wif the com.. i met my mom and we went down to changi airport to fetch my dad..
yesh!! my dad is back for new year celebration.. and he brought back lots of stuffs..
this is one of my favorites
mini oranges... the skin is thin.. so u can pop the whole thing into urr mouth and it will give this wonderful burst of flavour and juice..
the sweetness of the orange cover up the bitterness of the skin.. and its simply de-li-cious!!

wow... looks like i took a really long break from bloggin eh??
miss me?? lol!! jk jk
last week had been a pretty busy week.. went back to work for a day.. and sales tat day hit 22k.. whaha!!
and i worked as an usher during the Singapore VS Thailand game in kallang stadium..
it was a shitty job i tell u.. i worked 6 hours, listen to the boss scream at me and im onli paid 30 bucks for my time and service.. worse of all.. i dun get to watch the game!!
but.. becos the thai team walked off.. the game was extended.. and i manage to catch the Singapore penalty goal..
the shot was sweet!! sweet sweet sweet!! straight to the top right corner and the goalkeeper cant do anything about it..
then u scream and celebrate wif the rest of the crowd..
the atmosphere was simply overwhelming.. and its the first time u see Singaporeans so united.. be it Malays, Chinese or Indians..
besides working.. i had my usual driving lessons.. my drive is smoother now... but still not good enough.. my instructor didnt doze off
started a little on parking.. think will do more later.. i've got a lesson at 4pm..
kinda sick of slacking at home liaoz.. so sian... wanna go work.. wanna earn some dollar..
think i will call wei jie soon.. see his boss wanna hire salesman or not.. i go sell watch..
looking forward to chinese new year.. all the (potentially nice to watch) movies lined up on tv.. and ang baos to collect! =D
